Mainix built a custom competition management platform that centralizes event configuration, participant registration, staff coordination, payments, live-event ordering, and professional video delivery. The solution includes a production-grade Golang backend, AWS cloud infrastructure, integrated Stripe payments, custom authentication, an internal administration system, and a React and Next.js public experience.

Oly's Dance manages competitions involving participants, staff, registrations, payments, event-specific rules, live purchases, and professional media. As the organization and its events grew, these operations required more than a standard website or basic registration form. The business needed one system capable of supporting both the public event experience and the internal work required to run each competition.
Oly's Dance needed a centralized platform capable of managing complex competitions from initial event setup through registration, payments, live operations, and post-event media delivery. Each competition could have different eligibility requirements, participant configurations, staff assignments, pricing, menus, and operational rules. The platform also needed to process payments securely, preserve a complete transaction history, and deliver large professional-quality video files without reducing the performance of the rest of the system.
Mainix designed and developed a custom competition management platform around the organization's operational workflow.
The internal system allows the team to configure events, manage participants and staff, process registrations, enforce event-specific requirements, review payments, and maintain transaction records from one centralized platform. Stripe was integrated for secure payment processing, while custom authentication and access controls protect administrative functionality. Mainix also developed live-event menu and ordering functionality and implemented a dedicated media-delivery pipeline for professional video content. A React and Next.js frontend provides the public-facing experience, while the Golang backend and AWS infrastructure support the organization's core business operations.
The completed platform gives Oly's Dance a single operational system for managing competitions from beginning to end.
Event information, registrations, assignments, payments, live purchases, and media are now handled through a connected platform rather than separate workflows. This gives the team better visibility into each event, creates a more consistent experience for participants and staff, and provides a scalable technical foundation for future competitions.
